Mojisola Delano serves as the FaithHealth Project Coordinator at the Institute for Spirituality and Health at the Texas Medical Center.


Coordinating public health initiatives under the broad umbrella of the Institute’s FaithHealth Network, Moji’s focus is furthering the FaithHealthVaccine Initiative and the Faith and Diabetes Initiative by strengthening relationships with Greater Houston’s most at-risk and under-resourced communities. The Institute’s FaithHealthNetwork focuses on the physical, spiritual, and emotional health of the community by sharing resources, tools, and networks. Moji embraces the mission of the Institute with the goal of furthering important public health initiatives. Moji’s leadership and community engagement efforts encourage well-being and healthful outcomes in partnership with faith homes and public health partners across the Greater Houston Metropolitan Area.

 

Prior to joining the Institute for Spirituality and Health, Moji worked at the Health Care Improvement Foundation in Philadelphia, PA. This inspired her to pursue opportunities with greater impact. She prides herself on being a lifelong learner and is dedicated to bettering her community. Moji attended the University of Texas at Dallas, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Care Studies. She completed a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Science at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She also recently graduated from Thomas Jefferson University with a Master of Public Health degree.
